Relaxing Massage Experience | 18/03/26 | 19:30-20:50
Our massage sessions are brought to you by: Skin Sensations Brighton
You will receive an hour long full body massage, followed by 20 minutes afterwards to relax around our rescue cats, with complementary hot beverages.
Massage sessions are based on the Swedish massage concept, a therapeutic style designed to relax the body and improve circulation. The session uses a combination of long, gliding strokes, kneading, friction, and tapping techniques to release tension and promote deep relaxation.
We incorporate a mix of dry hand techniques, oil massage, and massage tools, applying different types of touch and pressure to help relieve stress, support circulation, and leave you feeling calm and refreshed. The pressure and intensity can always be adjusted to your comfort level, though sessions typically use light to medium pressure for a soothing and relaxing experience.
For clients interested in something a little different, we also offer Skin Play. This playful sensory experience involves the use of objects such as feathers, scratchers, fabrics, furs, and other textured items. These tools create unique sensations on the skin that many clients find both fun and deeply relaxing.
Each session is designed to be comfortable, relaxing, and tailored to your preferences.
πΎ House Rules for Massage Sessions
Our massage sessions take place in the shared home of our resident rescue cats. These guidelines help ensure a calm, safe, and respectful experience for both clients and cats.
π During Your Massage
Please follow the guidance shared by your therapist at the beginning of your session, including any house rules relating to the cats.
Massage sessions are designed to be quiet, slow, and deeply relaxing. If a cat comes close and you feel it could become distracting or uncomfortable, please let your therapist know.
You may gently redirect a cat if you feel comfortable doing so, but this is not expected. Your therapist or a member of staff will assist if needed.
Please do not pick up, grab, or carry cats in the treatment space.
During the massage, we encourage you to simply relax and allow the cats to go about their own business β resting, observing, or quietly exploring.
πΏ After Your Session
After your massage, you will have time to relax before leaving.
If you would like to interact with the cats, please sanitise your hands first.
Avoid disturbing cats who are sleeping or resting. This is their home, and we want them to feel safe and at ease.
Please do not pick up the cats.
Please do not chase cats or force interaction.
If you would like to interact, allow the cat to approach you first. Offer a finger for them to sniff and gently stroke them only if they show clear signs of comfort.
Please give the cats plenty of space and allow them to move freely.
Please do not feed the cats β they are all on carefully managed diets.
Please speak softly and keep noise levels low to maintain a calm environment.
π Thank You
By following these guidelines, you help create a peaceful, safe environment where both people and cats can relax and feel at ease.
Thank you for respecting our space and our catsβ home.
