A space for Tweens to enjoy movement and mindfulness in a way that is fun and meaningful to them. A non-competitive environment to explore yoga through challenges and games as well as enjoying that all important relaxation time.
A fantastic boost to overall mental and physical wellbeing as they continue to navigate the world as a young person.
🐾 House Rules for Yoga Sessions
Our yoga sessions take place in the shared home of our resident rescue cats. These guidelines are here to ensure a calm, safe, and respectful experience for both humans and cats.
Minimum age for entrance is 10+ Years Old.
🧘 During the Session
Please follow the guidance shared by the yoga instructor at the beginning of the session, including any house rules relating to the cats.
The yoga practice is intentionally slow and gentle. If at any point a cat comes too close and you feel it could become distracting or unsafe, please pause your movement.
You may gently redirect a cat if you feel comfortable doing so, but this is not expected. The yoga instructor or a member of staff will be available to help if needed.
Please do not pick up, grab, or carry cats around the room.
Try to ignore the cats during the active yoga portion and allow them to go about their own business — resting, observing, or playing independently.
🌿 After the Session (Relaxation Time)
After the yoga practice, we allow time for rest and gentle interaction with the cats.
Always sanitise your hands before engaging with the cats.
Avoid disturbing cats who are sleeping or relaxing. This is their home, and we want them to feel safe and at ease.
Please do not pick up cats.
Please do not chase cats or force interaction.
If you’d like to interact, allow the cat to approach you first. Offer a finger for them to sniff and only gently stroke them if they show clear signs of comfort.
Do not force cuddles or handling — quiet presence is often more enjoyable for them.
You’re welcome to use the toys provided, while remaining mindful and calm.
Please give cats plenty of space and allow them to move freely.
Do not feed the cats — they are all on specific diets.
Please speak softly and keep noise levels low.
💛 Thank you
By following these guidelines, you help us create a peaceful, safe environment where both people and cats can relax and enjoy the session together. Thank you for respecting our spaceand our cats’ home.
