🐾 House Rules
This evening will take place in the shared home of our resident rescue cats. These guidelines are here to ensure a calm, safe, and respectful experience for both humans and cats.
🎬 During the Movie
Please follow the guidance shared by the staff at the beginning of the evening, including any house rules relating to the cats.
Please settle into your seat before the movie begins and keep movement around the room to a minimum once the film has started, as sudden movement can startle the cats.
If a cat approaches you during the movie, please remain calm and allow them to move freely. If you feel distracted or uncomfortable, a member of staff will be happy to assist.
You may gently redirect a cat if you feel comfortable doing so, but this is not expected.
Please do not pick up, grab, or carry cats around the room.
Keep personal belongings, food, and drinks secure and out of reach of curious paws.
Please keep noise levels low throughout the screening — avoid shouting, loud laughter, or sudden noises.
Do not use flash photography or bright phone screens, as this can disturb both the cats and other guests.
🌿 After the Movie (Social & Cat Time)
After the screening, we allow time for calm socialising and gentle interaction with the cats.
Always sanitise your hands before engaging with the cats.
Avoid disturbing cats who are sleeping or relaxing. This is their home, and we want them to feel safe and at ease.
Please do not pick up cats.
Please do not chase cats or force interaction.
If you’d like to interact, allow the cat to approach you first. Offer a finger for them to sniff and only gently stroke them if they show clear signs of comfort.
Do not force cuddles or handling — quiet presence is often more enjoyable for them.
You’re welcome to use the toys provided, while remaining mindful and calm.
Please give cats plenty of space and allow them to move freely.
Do not feed the cats — they are all on specific diets.
Please continue to speak softly and keep noise levels low as the cats wind down for the evening.
💛 Thank you
By following these guidelines, you help us create a peaceful, safe environment where both people and cats can relax and enjoy the session together. Thank you for respecting our space and our cats’ home.
