About The Session
This gentle sound-bath meditation is guided by Naomi, blending immersive sound, mindful stillness, and quiet connection with our resident rescue cats.
As Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, soft percussion, and subtle rhythmic tones fill the space, you’ll be welcomed with a brief introduction to the cat-centred environment before settling into rest, with the cats free to move, curl up nearby, purr softly, or simply share the room.
You’re welcome to bring your own blankets, cushions, or eye coverings to feel as cosy as you like.
The combination of soothing sound and feline presence supports deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a grounded sense of calm connection.
🐾 House Rules for Sound Bath Sessions
Our sound bath sessions take place in the shared home of our resident rescue cats. These guidelines are here to ensure a calm, safe, and respectful experience for both humans and cats.
🧘 During the Session
Please follow the guidance shared by the instructor at the beginning of the session, including any house rules relating to the cats.
The practice is intentionally slow and gentle. If at any point a cat comes too close and you feel it could become distracting or unsafe, please inform the instructor.
You may gently redirect a cat if you feel comfortable doing so, but this is not expected. The instructor or a member of staff will be available to help if needed.
Please do not pick up, grab, or carry cats around the room.
Try to ignore the cats during the session and allow them to go about their own business — resting, observing, or playing independently.
🌿 After the Session (Relaxation Time)
After the yoga practice, we allow time for rest and gentle interaction with the cats.
Always sanitise your hands before engaging with the cats.
Avoid disturbing cats who are sleeping or relaxing. This is their home, and we want them to feel safe and at ease.
Please do not pick up cats.
Please do not chase cats or force interaction.
If you’d like to interact, allow the cat to approach you first. Offer a finger for them to sniff and only gently stroke them if they show clear signs of comfort.
Do not force cuddles or handling — quiet presence is often more enjoyable for them.
You’re welcome to use the toys provided, while remaining mindful and calm.
Please give cats plenty of space and allow them to move freely.
Do not feed the cats — they are all on specific diets.
Please speak softly and keep noise levels low.
💛 Thank you
By following these guidelines, you help us create a peaceful, safe environment where both people and cats can relax and enjoy the session together. Thank you for respecting our space and our cats’ home.
